My Story

I began my professional life as a dancer, training rigorously and touring internationally. Those years taught me about discipline, vulnerability, and the profound communication that happens without words. When I transitioned into psychology, I discovered that the same qualities that made me a thoughtful performer (presence, attunement to subtle cues, and comfort with the unknown) served me well as a therapist.

Dance as a Metaphor in Psychoanalysis

In my featured essay, I delve into how dance serves as a powerful metaphor in psychoanalysis. By exploring movement and rhythm, we can uncover deeper emotional truths and foster healing.
